Hey all
Well here's my small collection of Concorde memories, mainly models & photographs
Here my two Concorde SST models both are from Hogan Wings and are diecast metal at scale 1:200:
------------------------------
Aérospatiale - BAC Concorde
British Airways "Landor Livery"
G-BOAE "Alpha Echo"
Scale 1:200
Hogan Wings
------------------------------
Aérospatiale - BAC Concorde
Air France "Standard Livery"
F-BVFC "Fox Charlie"
Scale : 200
Hogan Wings
------------------------------
Here some stand shots:
Here the final display:
And here four old photo's my dad took back when he and I visited Perth International Airport when BA's Concorde G-BOAF "Alpha Foxtrot" paid a visit
She was sporting the Landor Livery, like my model G-BOAE "Alpha Echo" is wearing
This photo really impressed the crowd, and the plan no one thought that would arrive at Perth, as if we all entered a new dimension.
It was simply stunning and very futuristic for me to see and sound sound it's four Rolls Royce Olympus 593's produced was pretty crazy as loudness went, but damn awesome at the same time!
Dad & i had goosebumps everywhere hah xD great times, not something we'd ever forget.
And off she went , thundering down the runway.
the Channel 7news chopper did a live report and recording of this for national & International Television
They used a Bell 222, epic choice back then.
And here the last Concorde I Seen and left alone been in to was back in Summer of 2017, my parents & I went to Sinsheim & Speyer.
Our main goals for Sinsheim were to see and enter the Aérospatiale - BAC Air France Concorde the F-BVFB "Fox Bravo" & Tupolev Aeroflot Tu-144D CCCP-77112 and we surely did succeed for those two
Here the photo's from that glorious day:
Aérospatiale/BAC Concorde
F-BVFB
Air France
Sinsheim Auto-Technik Museum, Germany
My entire review of Sinsheim & Speyer can be read here at the DA.C Community, there I go as Gold Leader:
www.diecastaircraftforum.com/general-squawk-talk/290106-sinsheim-speyer-2017-a.html
Anyways this is pretty much all I have, the memories never fade though, that being a good thing
And I do plan on collecting more diecast metal scale 1:200 Concorde models also some what if liveries like Pan American World Airways, Continental and other carriers.
